Patricia-Slattum.jpgPatricia W. Slattum, PharmD, PhD, is a pharmacist and geriatric clinical pharmacologist whose research and practice focuses on reducing drug-induced cognitive and functional impairment in older adults.  She serves as co-director of the Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program at the Virginia Center on Aging, Virginia Commonwealth University and as faculty in the VCU Richmond Health and Wellness Program, an interprofessional enhanced care coordination program in low-income senior housing in urban Richmond that she co-founded in 2012. Her role in these efforts is facilitating integration of age-friendly practice into community-based care.  She is also a visiting scholar at the Gerontological Society of America.

 

 

 

Cindy-Warriner.jpgCindy Warriner has been a licensed Virginia pharmacist for 34+ years. She earned her BS in Pharmacy degree from the Medical College of Virginia (Virginia Commonwealth University) in 1986 after completing a Biology Degree from James Madison University in 1982.  During the course of her career, she spent 20 years in independent community practice and owned her own consulting business. She practiced for over ten years with a community chain. Her primary position now is as the part-time pharmacist consultant for Health Quality Innovators (HQI), a QIN-QIO (a nonprofit quality innovative network-quality improvement organization) and she has re-opened her pharmacy consulting business.
