 Kaplan Admissions Test - Nursing (ADN & PN)

Students will be required to take the Kaplan Admissions test to be eligible to apply for either nursing program. Students should contact the testing center to schedule an appointment. The Kaplan Admissions test can be taken twice in an academic year. For more information on the Nursing program, please click on the links below.  

Important Application and Test Deadline Dates

  • *Attention:  Before submitting your application, you must take the Kaplan Admissions test in advance.
  • Nursing and Practical Nursing Application Deadline – First Monday in October for a January start and the first Monday in March for an August start by 5:00 p.m.

Test Fees

$80 with a free repeat

Kaplan Admission Scores

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) – 60% Overall and 45% in each category
  • Practical Nursing (PN) – 45% Overall and 35% in each category
  • *Attention: The test scores listed above are generally the minimum required for admissions to the program. Scoring at or above these minimums does not guarantee your admission to the program.  These are shared as a guideline to help you understand what the profile of a typical applicant who is admitted to the program looks like.

Scheduling an appointment

The testing center administers Kaplan Admissions test from August to March.
