Richmond County Public Library is Tote-ally Creative

Yesterday afternoon, the Richmond County Public Library held a Tote Bag Decorating Event that attracted children of all ages. With fabric markers, iron-on patches, paints, buttons, and more, participants were invited to decorate blank tote bags to carry their library books. The bags also included a clear plastic sleeve to store a library card for easy access. While some children decorated their bags with scenes of wildlife and nature, others wrote their favorite quotes from books they had read this summer. With the Summer Reading problem at the public library in full swing, the children will put these bags to good use!
