On Monday, October 31, Dr. Troy Tuckey of the Virginia Institute for Marine Science spoke about “Life history, research, and management of the amazing American eel” in the lecture hall at Rappahannock Community College’s Glenns Campus. The presentation was seen at the Warsaw Campus also via the college’s interactive video facilities.
The talk was jointly sponsored by RCC’s Environmental Sustainability Committee and the RCC Math and Science Club. These groups will host the next lecture of the series, covering water quality, wetlands ecology, and watershed resource management, on November 30 at 12:25 p.m. Again, it will take place in the lecture halls on both RCC campuses.
