The 2017 edition of the Preakness Party fundraiser raised a record $90,000 to support RCC student scholarships and College programs.
The Rappahannock Community College Educational Foundation, Inc. (RCC/EFI) is a non-profit charitable Virginia corporation dedicated to supporting the mission of Rappahannock Community College of success through quality learning.
RCC/EFI is dedicated to assisting residents of the college’s twelve-county service region gain access to affordable and effective higher education by gathering, managing, and distributing financial resources through its scholarships, endowments, and outreach programs.
RCC/EFI is governed by a volunteer board of directors that represent the 12 counties that RCC serves. These directors give generously of their time and talent. The Foundation is housed in the historic Chinn House on the Warsaw campus, and hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The RCC Educational Foundation will host those who have given and those who have received support from our Scholarships for 2017-18. More information about the event will be announced soon.

RILL will explore the life of Robert Moton, who was a valued advisor to five United States presidents, yet is virtually unknown to most Americans today.
The three-session course will be taught by Clayton W. James on June 6, 13, and 20 (Tuesdays), from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the main branch of the Gloucester County Public Library at 6920 Main Street in Gloucester Courthouse.
