COURSE DESCRIPTION: Continues the Virginia office of Emergency Medical Services Intermediate and/or Paramedic curricula. Focuses on the assessment and management of specialty patients including obstetrical, neonates, pediatric, and geriatrics. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
Prerequisites: EMT-B Certification, EMS 151 and EMS 153.
Co-requisite: EMS 155.
