COURSE DESCRIPTION: Studies history, classification, sources, effects, uses and legalities of drugs. Teaches problem solving skills used in determining doses of drugs. Emphasizes major drug classes and specific agents within each class. Presents on an administration of medications. Lecture 1 hour per week.
