In the summer, we like it cool. In the winter, most folks like to be warm. That’s not the way things are in nature, so it takes a whole lot of mind power to keep the people warm and/or cool. Thanks to our Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Career Studies Certificate, you can learn how to install, troubleshoot and repair many of the HVAC systems that are on the market.
You’ll learn from expert faculty members who have worked in the field for years. These professionals will instruct you on the industry-standard best-practices, both in the classroom and with tools in hand.
The HVAC Program is made up of five classes (17 credits altogether). You’ll be enrolled in classes like “Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Controls I” and “Circuits and Controls II.” These class sessions will be a mix of lecture (in class learning) and lab (training on equipment).
Though we will get technical with you while you’re in class, you will benefit from our small classrooms and direct attention from the faculty. Our instructors will know you by name and help you learn and succeed.
