Our Basic Electronics Career Studies Certificate is designed to get you started into the world of electronics and electrical installation.
By the end of the program, you’ll be ready to apply for entry-level electronics installer positions, and you’ll also be positioned to take further educational steps — like taking on the Engineering General Technology Associate of Applied Science Degree — which builds on the classes you’ll take with Basic Electronics.

The Basic Electronics Career Studies Certificate is usually divided into two semesters, and consists of classes like “D.C. & A.C. Fundamentals I” and “Electronic Devices I.” To finish the program, students will need to complete 20 credits.
Have your official high school transcripts sent to RCC to see if you can use your high school grades to substitute for a placement test.
