Get Organized
You can have the best business ideas in the world, but if you don’t keep track of your funds, you’ll find yourself in a bad spot. Our Certificate in Accounting will train you on all of the skills required to balance the books.
We’ll train you on how to create budgets, record payments, maintain balance sheets all with the latest computer applications.
Dollars and Cents
The Accounting Certificate is a 33 credit program, designed to be completed in one year. Half of the program consists of accounting courses at the college level and the other courses provide you with the math, humanities, and science courses you need to obtain the certificate.
Getting Started at RCC:
- Apply online or in person.
- Have your official high school transcripts sent to RCC to see if you can use your high school grades to substitute for a placement test. If you need to take a placement test, Placement tests cost $5 and scores are good for two years. Call a counselor at 804-758-6730 (Glenns Campus) or 804-333-6730 for more information.
- Complete your Federal Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) and add RCC School Code 009160
- Meet with a counselor to review your placement test scores and register for class.
