The purpose of the Workforce and Community Development department is to provide the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck with quality, cost effective, flexible, comprehensive and responsive workforce development services. Designed around business and industry needs, WCD offers customized training as well as short-term, focused seminars and workshops to teach individuals hands-on skills for immediate application in the workplace.
Workforce and Community Development provides classes and programs to develop individuals for careers or promotions, and to assist business and industries to achieve effective solutions through employee development. These classes are available to all interested individuals in our service region. |
