Workforce Development

Purpose

The purpose of the Workforce and Community Development department is to provide the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck with quality, cost effective, flexible, comprehensive and responsive workforce development services. Designed around business and industry needs, WCD offers customized training as well as short-term, focused seminars and workshops to teach individuals hands-on skills for immediate application in the workplace.
