RCC Gulls Baseball
RCC’s Gulls continues the winning traditions under Coach Jack Moore. RCC has won six VCCS Conference titles in the last 11 years. The intent of the RCC baseball team is to produce scholar-athletes, young men who are winners on the field and off, and who are well prepared to succeed in life as well as in the four-year institutions to which they will transfer. The team consists of 18 players who try out for the team during the fall. The top 18 players who also qualify academically, will be selected for the team. Players may have an opportunity to tryout again in the spring. The regular season begins in February and runs through the first weekend in May. All players must maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average, and must be enrolled in at least twelve credit hours at all times during fall practice or the spring season in order to play.
