Attendees will meet in the lecture hall Friday for the GA EMS CEUs and MCIM I & II. Saturday and Sunday attend the two-day EPC training. The Emergency Pediatric Care (EPC) course focuses on critical pediatric physiology, illnesses, injuries and interventions to help EMS practitioners provide the best treatment for sick and injured children in the field. MCIM Module I will prepare students who are the first responders to a mass casualty incident to take appropriate initial control actions of the medical problem and perform the initial triage of patients. MCIM Module II provides more in depth information on managing mass casualties, including creating the medical command structure. A table top exercise helps practice the skills taught in the class.

NAEMT's Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) is recognized around the world as the leading continuing education program for prehospital emergency trauma care. MCIM Module II provides more in depth information on managing mass casualties, including creating the medical command structure. A table top exercise helps practice the skills taught in the class. Research shows that more often than not, EMS providers have trouble ventilating patients. In this eye opening hands on workshop, Bob shows participants how to ventilate patients by BVM, via Mask, ET tube, and supraglottic airways using state of the art computerized simulators that measure pressures, volumes, and ventilatory rates. You will be gain valuable insight, skills and improve your ventilation ability using this valuable feedback and coaching system. This lab features the tools and techniques to introduce to you the concept of high performance ventilation (HP). Limited to 24 so that everyone can get time to practice.

This is a fun and informative event designed to allow you to showcase your patient assessment and management skills. As with traditional escape room, you will have a series of puzzles to solve to gain access to your lifesaving equipment, which is locked up in jump kits. In the meantime, the clock is ticking as your patient (simulator) slowly deteriorates. Then, when hope seems to fade, you solve the puzzles freeing your equipment and you rebound to assess and treat the patient and save their life and "ESCAPE! Crews are limited to 8 each time slot. Choose one, get together a team from your service, Challenge other squads. Come and enjoy yourself as we honor you with this special EMS event!
