RCC nurse aide program graduates five

Five students have recently completed the course requirements for Rappahannock Community College’s Warsaw Campus nurse aide program, graduating on October 15. Clinical facilities for the class were graciously provided by The Orchard, a nearby senior living community. Seated, left to right: Katherine Souther and Terri Leach, King William County; Mya Reaves and Diana Monroe, Gloucester County; and Natasha Johnson, King George County. Standing at the rear is RCC nurse aide instructor Susie Lewis.

New classes for RCC’s nurse aide program will begin soon. Prospective students who are in need of assistance can call Kim Kent at the Virginia Employment Commission (804-333-5095), Sherry Pearson at the Job Assistance Center in Shackelfords (804-785-2470), or RCC’s Workforce Development Office (804-758-6750 in Glenns, 804-435-8972 in Kilmarnock, or 804-333-6828 in Warsaw). I was interested in the nurses aide program. I was wondering when the next class starts and do you all have night or evening classes. I would like to know what the cost maybe. I have taken the CNA course once before however it has been awhile and I as wondering if I had to take them again.

    Thank you,
