RCC baseball season packed with doubleheaders

The first month of play for Rappahannock Community College’s men’s baseball team, the Gulls, has resulted in three wins and seven losses. Eighteen game dates remain, 16 of them doubleheaders, before the end of the season.

In home games, the Gulls will meet Southern Maine Community College on Wednesday, March 14, at 1 p.m.; Cecil College on Saturday, March 17, at 1 p.m.; the Community College of Baltimore County-Catonsville on Sunday, March 18, at 1 p.m.; Fulton-Montgomery Community College on Wednesday, March 21, at 5 p.m.; Anne Arundel Community College on Friday, March 23, at 1 p.m.; Lackawanna College on Sunday, March 25, at 2:30 p.m.; SUNY Sullivan Community College on Thursday, March 29, at 2 p.m.; the Community College of Baltimore County-Essex on Sunday, April 1, at 1 p.m.; and Potomac State College on Saturday, April 7, at 2 p.m. Due to varying field conditions, game locations will be determined individually as either Rappahannock High School in Warsaw or Dream Fields in Kilmarnock; please check RCC’s website for the latest news.

Away games will take place on Saturday, March 31, at 2 p.m., against Cecil College, in North East, Maryland; on Thursday, April 5, at 2 p.m., against Newport News Apprentice School, in Hampton; on Thursday, April 12, at 2 p.m., against Potomac State College, in Keyser, West Virginia; on Friday, April 13, at 1 p.m., against Allegany College of Maryland, in Cumberland; on Saturday, April 14, at 1 p.m., against Garrett College, in McHenry, Maryland; on Saturday, April 21, at 1 p.m., against the College of Southern Maryland, in La Plata; on Sunday, April 22, at 1 p.m., against the Community College of Baltimore County-Essex, in Baltimore, Maryland; on Wednesday, April 25, at 2 p.m., against the Community College of Baltimore County-Dundalk, in Baltimore, Maryland; and on Saturday, April 28, at 2 p.m., against Louisburg College, in Louisburg, North Carolina.
