Lewis is ambassador at governor’s award ceremony

Karen Lewis, administrative assistant to Rappahannock Community College’s Glenns Campus Student Support Services Office, was one of twenty-four “Ambassadors,” representing the best and most dedicated Commonwealth of Virginia employees, who congratulated recipients of the annual Governor’s Awards for Public Service at a July 2 ceremony. “It was an honor for me to represent RCC’s staff,” Lewis says.
Lewis has been a member of RCC’s staff for over 20 years; Governor McDonnell took the opportunity to thank her for all her hard work as a state employee. “I thought the governor was very sincere and personal,” she says.
