Grand Opening of RCC Kilmarnock Center is January 21
Working toward RCC Kilmarnock Center Grand Opening
Rappahannock Community College has been working at top speed to ready the new Kilmarnock Center, in the Chesapeake Commons shopping center on Route 3, for its Grand Opening on Saturday, January 21, 1-3 p.m. Virginia Community College System chancellor Dr. Glenn Dubois will be an honored guest at the January 21 event; WKWI and WIGO will be broadcasting live, and visitors can tour the Center and meet many of RCC’s faculty and staff.
The space has been wired for multiple computer stations and phones, interactive video classes, and security installations, and the décor is designed to match the newly-renovated Glenns and Warsaw Campuses. The facility offers local access to academic, adult education, and workforce training classes; it features a nursing lab, testing center, student lounge area, and community room.
