Old Dominion University, in partnership with Rappahannock Community College, offers an interactive distance education program that enables students to earn bachelor, master, and doctorate degrees from a fully accredited university on both the Glenns campus of RCC. Methods of delivery include live satellite transmission to the RCC campuses from the main campus in Norfolk and online courses, which enable students the convenience of taking selected courses via their home computers. The first two years of undergraduate course work are completed at RCC, or can be transferred in from other Colleges.
RCC students who are considering transferring to Old Dominion University are encouraged to make an appointment with the Old Dominion University site director early in their programs to maximize the number of courses that will transfer. Students who have completed 24 credits and have at least a 2.5 average, may take classes and/or apply for admission to Old Dominion University for most undergraduate programs. Most classes are open to non-degree students.
For a detailed schedule of classes and a registration packet, and/or to schedule an advising appointment, please call 804.758.6795 Glenns , or stop by the Old Dominion University TELETECHNET office at the Glenns campus.
