SIS (Student Information System)
The Student Information System (SIS) is a web based self-service database that students may use to access their RCC records. Students can access the SIS from any computer that has Internet access.
The SIS allows students to access their personal student information, access class schedule information, enroll and drop classes, pay for classes using Visa or MasterCard, obtain final grades, request transcripts, review degree progress reports to see what courses are needed to complete degree programs, check financial aid awards and more, all online.

Elluminate
Elluminate is a web conferencing system that allows students to interact with their instructor in real time. Many instructors in our distance learning program use this program to facilitate online office hours. If your instructor is using Elluminate, you will be required to download and install some software prior to your first session. This is a one-time only download and takes up to 1 hour to download on a dial-up modem. To get started, please visit http://www.elluminate.com/support/. If you have difficulty downloading the software, contact the distance learning office at rcchelp@rappahannock.edu. To login to the RCC Elluminate site, please click here. To view the online student tutorial on Elluminate, click here. For more information on Elluminate, please click on the “Getting Started” guide.
Atomic Learning
Atomic Learning is a great tool for learning little bits of information at a time. This resource is available free for all RCC faculty, staff, students and their families. Email rcchelp@rappahannock.edu for login information.
Free Antivirus for Faculty and Students
Students, faculty, and staff can now download Symantec AntiVirus Products for use on their personal computers. To access your free download, you will need to login to the myRCC single signon and access Blackboard. Under the RCC tab in Blackboard you will be able to locate the “Free Anti-Virus Software” module with the download information.
