- Faculty Opportunity for fall…The Distance Learning Technology office at RCC has made arrangements to offer the IDOL (Instructional Design for Online Learning) course for VCCS faculty during the fall 2010 semester (October 4-December 12). The instructor for this course is Kristin Machac who is currently an Instructional Designer for Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA. In this position, Kristin supports the instructional design and technology needs of the new Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Formerly, Kristin served as the Instructional Designer and Blackboard Administrator of CVCC and she has been teaching as an adjunct instructor for the VCCS for more than eight years.
