Library Services

The library at each campus is available to students, faculty, staff, and the community. The libraries offer a wide variety of services and resources to meet informational needs, support the curriculum, strengthen instruction, promote research, and enhance the overall college experience for students. The Glenns campus has collections designed for academic use, some popular fiction and a DVD collection. The Library Center at Warsaw serves as the academic library and the Richmond County Public Library.

Library services include intercampus and interlibrary loans, research assistance, course reserve services, media viewing and listening, and individual and class research instruction. The library catalog provides information related to both campus locations and allows students to access library materials at both campuses. The libraries provide access to books in print, online, and audio format. Databases include full-text journals, magazines, newspapers, articles, reference books, and audio research tools to support student coursework. Library collections are continually updated and improved. A collection development policy encourages faculty and student participation in the acquisition process. Your student ID card is also your library card.

LRC Live is a 24/7 “ask a librarian” cooperative. The library participates in the Virtual Library of Virginia (VIVA). Access to resources and services is also available 24/7 through the library web site for students, faculty, and staff through the use of logon and password. Please visit the library web site to learn more.
