Welding: Arc and Gas Career Studies Certificate
Length: 9 Credits
Purpose
To train persons for full-time employment as beginning welders. This short term course of studies is intended to introduce students to the principles and techniques of basic oxyacetylene welding and cutting, and basic arc welding.
Occupational Objectives
Entry Level Welder; Farm Welder; Marine Welder
Admission Requirements
Applicants must meet the general admission requirements of the college.
Program Requirements
Students must earn a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the curriculum to be awarded the Career Studies Certificate in Welding: Arc and Gas.
