Computer Aided Drafting Career Studies Certificate
Length: 16 credits
Purpose: This program prepares students to work as CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) technicians and provides skills enhancement for working technicians, engineers, drafters, and designers. It includes advanced CAD drafting and design using auto CAD and specialty software in electronics, graphics programming, or mechanical, architectural, or civil design.
Entry level work in the fields of architecture, urban planning, interior design, electronics design and manufacturing design.
Applicants must meet the general admission requirements of the college.
Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 in the curriculum.
