Tuition and Fee Schedule
Effective Fall 2008

The following tuition and fee rates will be effective Fall Semester 2008 and will remain in effect until further notice. Tuition and technology fees have been established by the State Board for Community Colleges. Fees have been approved by the Local College Board.
TUITION
Virginia Resident $81.65 per credit hour
Military Contract Rate

$81.65 per credit hour
Business Contract Rate $111.65 per credit hour
Out-of-State Resident $253.80 per credit hour
Tuition is charged per credit regardless of the number of credits registered.
FEES
Student Activity Fee $.75 per credit
Technology Fee $4.50 per credit
Capital Fee* $3.00 per credit
Service Fee $4.00 per semester (for credit classes)
$.50 per course (for non-credit)
College Placement Testing Fee $5.00
Proctor Testing Fee $10.00
*(out-of-state and contract rate students only)
Student activity fee and technology fee are charged per credit regardless of the number of credits registered.

REFUND POLICY

Students shall be eligible for a refund of those credit hours dropped during the add/drop period for the session. The refund will be at the full credit rate for those credits dropped. After the add/drop period, refunds will not be issued.

COLLEGE BOOKSTORE

The college bookstore operation is leased to Follett College Stores. The college will invoice for tuition and fees only. Follett College Stores will invoice for books. Please provide separate authorization.
