The purpose of the President’s Planning Advisory Council is to:  1) assist the president in identifying issues that are critical to the college and to advise the president on possible resolution; 2) serve as a forum for discussion of institutional policies, procedures, and practices through representative participation of the faculty, staff, and student body; and 3) facilitate the planning process by overseeing college-wide planning activities and assuring that institutional effectiveness recommendations for improvement are institutionalized and supported in the college budget, where necessary.

In 2010-2011, PPAC will:

1. Facilitate discussion and construction of the RCC 2011-15 Strategic Plan, to be produced in January 2011.
2. Determine and direct implementation of college-wide communication methods, including town hall meetings and blog.
