Rappahannock Community College’s site is located inside of King George High School and offers a variety of courses, including Emergency Medical Services (EMS) classes, as well as courses for the personnel at Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division in King George County. Placement and Distance Learning Testing takes place during office hours.
King George High School Students can take College Courses
Our RCC Scholars * program allows current high school students in the county who receive permission of the principal to enroll in evening and weekend classes at any RCC site, including Glenns Campus, Warsaw Campus, and our site at the high school. Any class starting 5 p.m. or later during the week or all day Saturday will be billed at the special Scholar Rate of $10 per credit. MORE »

* Pursuant to the Governing Principles of Dual Enrollment, schools and colleges are encouraged to provide high school students with the opportunity for dual enrollment at little or no cost to them or their families … theVirginia Community College System (VCCS) Dual Enrollment Financial Model applies only when dual enrollment courses are held at the high school. Per VCCS policy, full tuition and fees must be paid to the College for each student enrolled in dual enrollment courses. Reimbursement to the school for a portion of the tuition may occur if the school’s contribution of resources is adequate as specified in the dual enrollment contract between Rappahannock Community College and the Virginia Public School.
